Origin India, format 198 × 310 cm — a Tabriz made entirely by hand. It covers approximately 6.14 m², or 6.5' × 10.2'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
Construction
Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. It is entirely hand-knotted. Pile height is given as 10-12mm.
Format and use
The rug is rectangular. Large enough to hold a full seating group.

The stated knot density is 300,000–399,999 knots/m². At this density even small-scale motifs can be worked out cleanly.

The stated colourway is red and orange. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
