Origin China, format 272 × 375 cm — a Isfahan made entirely by hand. It covers approximately 10.2 m², or 8.9' × 12.3'. Isfahan has stood for exceptionally fine knotting for centuries.
What it is made of
Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 5-7mm.

The stated knot density is 500,000–599,999 knots/m². Very fine knotting of this kind takes many times the working hours and shows correspondingly precise pattern work.
