Origin India, format 249 × 291 cm — a Isfahan made entirely by hand. It covers approximately 7.25 m², or 8.2' × 9.5'. Isfahan has stood for exceptionally fine knotting for centuries.
Materials and construction
Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 7-10mm.

The rug is rectangular. At this size the rug defines the room rather than accenting it.

The stated knot density is 300,000–399,999 knots/m². At this density even small-scale motifs can be worked out cleanly.
On the colourway
Colour is recorded as Weiß / beige. Handmade rugs always show slight colour shifts from knot to knot — that is a mark of hand work, not a defect.
