Origin Afghanistan, format 198 × 292 cm — a Samarkand made entirely by hand. It covers approximately 5.78 m², or 6.5' × 9.6'.
Construction
Stated material: new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 5-7mm.

The rug is rectangular. A size where sofa and armchairs can rest their front legs on the rug.

The stated knot density is 400,000–499,999 knots/m². Knotting at this density allows detailed drawing and soft transitions between colours.
