This Tabriz comes from India and measures 245 × 310 cm. It covers approximately 7.6 m², or 8' × 10.2'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
Materials and construction
Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 7-10mm.
