Origin India, format 87 × 341 cm — a Tabriz made entirely by hand. It covers approximately 2.97 m², or 2.9' × 11.2'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
What it is made of
Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 10-12mm.

The stated knot density is 400,000–499,999 knots/m². At this density even small-scale motifs can be worked out cleanly.

Colour is recorded as Weiß / beige. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
