About this rug

This Tabriz comes from Iran and measures 153 × 200 cm. That is roughly 3.06 m² of floor, about 5' × 6.6'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.

Materials and construction

Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 7-10mm.
