Origin Iran, format 166 × 242 cm — a Tabriz made entirely by hand. That is roughly 4.02 m² of floor, about 5.4' × 7.9'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.

Construction

Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 5-7mm.
